Eligibility Requirements

You will want to begin preparation as early as possible in order to ensure that you meet the academic requirements to study in Singapore. Your application will be judged on a variety of factors, beginning with your performance in school. Universities will expect that you have completed the equivalent of two A-Level courses that have a general paper requirement. Each of these should be completed in one sitting. The International Baccalaureate Diploma is also accepted throughout Singapore as evidence that you are prepared for the rigors of university level study. Beyond these two factors, you may also take the ACT or SAT exam. Earn as high a score as possible, as the result will be taken into account as your application is reviewed.

Singaporean universities also have a certain level of expectation when it comes to the English language. As an international student, you will be asked to sit for a General English Exam during your first year of study at the university. If you do not earn a satisfactory score on the exam, you may be asked to complete up to three additional English language modules before moving to the later stages of your program. It is important to remember that these modules will not earn you any credit towards your degree program.

Cost of Studying Creative Arts & Design in Singapore

As you prepare to go abroad for your university studies, you will need to be prepared for the cost. Singapore has set annual tuition fees for this program at $17,100 Singapore Dollars, providing you have a grant from the Ministry of Education. If you do not have this grant, then you will need to plan on annual fee of $28,650 Singapore Dollars. In addition, remember to account for miscellaneous course fees, costs associated with food and lodging, and any travel expenses that you might incur.
