About
The Diploma in Interior Design at Sunway College Ipoh is a 2.5-year (7 semesters) programme accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). It combines creativity, technical knowledge, and practical training to equip students with the skills needed to design functional, aesthetic, and sustainable interior spaces.
Students will explore design fundamentals, architectural graphics, 3D visualisation, furniture design, and project management, while developing strong problem-solving and presentation skills. Real-world projects and internships provide valuable industry exposure.

Alternatively, graduates can pursue degree programmes at other recognised universities or begin careers in interior design firms, architecture practices, retail and furniture design, or creative industries.

Entry Requirements
The students need to meet the following Entry Requirements
- SPM / O-Level: Pass with a minimum of 3 credits, including a pass in Portfolio
- UEC: Pass with a minimum of 3Bs, including a pass in Portfolio
- Certificate (MQF Level 3): In a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, including a pass in Portfolio
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government may be considered
- All applicants must pass a Portfolio Review by Sunway College Ipoh
