About Woking College

Woking College is an outstanding Sixth Form College providing the highest quality education for over 1,200 16-19 year olds.

With consistently high A Level and Vocational results (99% and 100% respectively) the College is especially proud of its “Value Added Status”, which due to exceptional teaching means that whatever grades students enter College with, they will perform significantly better at A Level, putting us amongst the best in the country.

High performing students are catered for with our A* and Extended Projects whilst our Learning Support Department is second to none for offering additional help when students need it.

However the College is not just about work and study and with over 40 extra curricular activities, students are encouraged to be well rounded, responsible individuals.

Students come to the College from 80 different state and Independent schools facilitated by the excellent travel links. Our inclusive, caring environment means all students “fit in” and we are highly praised for our sense of community by both students and parents.

When it is time to move on, our highly professional Progression Department offers advice and guidance whether that be to university or into the workplace. Every UCAS application is monitored and approved and all Vocational students are offered work experience placements.

By train: Woking College is a 15-minute walk from Woking Station, and a regular bus service connects the station to the College.

By bus: The College is on national and local bus routes from the areas of Camberley, Chertsey and Guildford. Subsidised passes for travel between home and the College are available from Surrey County Council.

By road: The College is easily accessible by road and there is ample free parking for all students and visitors.

By foot: It is a 15-minute walk from Woking town centre.

By bike: We strongly encourage you to cycle to College and have many undercover cycling bays.

We have ample parking spaces for students at the college and rail links from all major stations in the area are fast and efficient.
