Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Architecture
About
Sunway University’s Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Architecture is a 3-year full-time programme designed to cultivate creative and critical architectural professionals. Positioned within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, this programme integrates practice-led pedagogy with context-driven, human-centred design principles.
Students learn through hands-on projects, research, and interdisciplinary exploration, developing innovative, ethical, and sustainable architectural solutions that respond to cultural and environmental contexts. Two flexible pathways allow students to tailor their focus: Experiential and Immersive Architecture, which examines human interaction with design, and Bio-integrated Architecture, exploring the integration of biological systems into resilient and adaptive architectural solutions.
Graduates are prepared for diverse career opportunities, including Assistant Architect, BIM Modeller, AR/VR Immersive Visualiser, Design Consultant, Interior Designer, and Architectural Model Specialist. This programme equips students with practical skills, creative vision, and industry knowledge to thrive in the modern architecture landscape.
