UTS Insearch tutorials have a maximum of 20 students so you get the face-to-face teaching time you need. Academic lectures can have between 20-100 students, a more intimate size than university.
Our classrooms also have the latest technology on offer. Once you enrol, you can use the interactive map available on the new student extranet to get directions to wherever you need to be.

The UTS Insearch Student Centre is located on the ground floor of the Blue Building on 187 Thomas Street, Haymarket.
Computer Labs
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology in our computer laboratories. There are more than 600 computers designated for diploma students and more than 100 for English language students, in addition to the facilities at UTS. High-speed wireless Internet means that you are connected throughout the UTS Insearch campus.
Lounges
Students can enjoy accessing several student lounges located around the campus. Relax with friends over a coffee, chill out with your headphones on, or enjoy a quiet space for study, research and group work. The lounges are also a great place to escape, even if it's just for a little while.
The UTS Insearch Auditorium is used for lectures, functions, graduations, Orientation week events, and other activities. The Auditorium is located on 187 Thomas Street Haymarket, Sydney on the Ground Floor level of the UTS Insearch Blue Building.
On average, students take four subjects per semester with a maximum of 24 face-to-face teaching hours per week. Lecture theatres are located throughout the UTS Insearch campus in the following buildings.
Choose from a range of options to suit your lifestyle and budget. Stay at our UTS Insearch Student Residence at Urbanest across the road from our campus on Quay Street; stay with a local local Australian family or share an apartment with friends. It just depends on your age (under 18 years of age or over 18 years) and how close to campus you would like to live.
Many students enjoy living independently and renting or house-sharing with friends. The UTS Housing Service provides information about available private properties, which includes house-shares, apartments, studios and rooms. The service is free of charge. Accommodation agents can also assist you before you arrive in Sydney.
