About Australian Vocational Learning Centre (AVLC)

Established in 2009, Australian Vocational Learning Centre (AVLC) teaches current and necessary skills and knowledge while applying ethical business principles in the growing region of Western Sydney. Armed with very experienced and talented teachers, combined with its leading edge educational resources, AVLC is the college of choice and the centre of excellence within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. AVLC is also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), registered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). AVLC believes in equipping their students with the skills and knowledge that will improve their standards of living.

The college offers a modern, well-equipped facility extending over nearly two floors with a combined student kitchen and large dining area. They also have an extensive range of up-to-date textbooks, reference books and educational support materials. Classrooms are equipped with computers with up-to-date software and superb internet access. Students may also access the internet whilst on campus by using their tablets and laptops. There is also a 24/7 access to the student portal providing information on current academic progress, attendance, update student details and other updates.

Australian Vocational Learning Centre also offers an entirely flexible ways to access your learning which is via their online ELearning system - Canvas by Instructure. This online ELearning system provides students with borderless classrooms, its solely based on the students capacity and accesibility at that moment. Courses are easy to navigate via Canvas’ easy to use interface because all features and functions are built into the modules.

International students have the choice of the following types of accommodations: 

  • Full Board (Homestay): 200 - 270 AUD per week
  • Student House: 150 - 200 AUD per week
  • Half - Board: 150 - 200 AUD per week (plus expenses) 
  • Leasing a House/Flat: 200 - 350 AUD per week (unfurnished)

Campus

The AVLC campus is located in the heart of Sydney Metropolitan region, Parramatta. It is 24km from the Sydney CBD and 6km from Sydney Olympic Park.

Its also a short 5-minute walk from the Parramatta transport Interchange, Westfield Parramatta Shopping Centre and the various business services of the Parramatta CBD. 

Parramatta is the second oldest Europe settlement, the sixth largest Australian mainland in the country and the second largest CBD in Sydney, offering a rich mix of dining, cultural, entertainment, retail and leisure experiences. From its world-class cafes and restaurants to its vibrant nightlife of theatres and clubs.
