About Cape Fear Community College
The service area of Cape Fear Community College includes New Hanover and Pender counties with a campus located in downtown Wilmington, a North Campus in Castle Hayne, and a satellite center in Burgaw. CFCC also offers classes at the Alston W. Burke Surf City Campus, built in 2014.
Wilmington is a port city and the county seat of New Hanover County in coastal southeastern North Carolina, United States. The population is 112,067; according to the 2010 Census it is the eighth most populous city in the state. Wilmington is the principal city of the Wilmington Metropolitan Statistical Area, a metropolitan area that includes New Hanover and Pender counties in southeastern North Carolina, which has a population of 263,429 as of the 2012 Census Estimate.
The College does not have housing facilities. However, upon request and if known, college officials will provide students with information concerning available housing. Students are advised to have a clear understanding with landlords regarding all rental and/or lease agreements.
