Entry Requirements

Degree and/or experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of occupational therapy.
  • Relevant work experience is taken into account in the selection process
  • Minimum academic entry requirement (no exceptions
  • are made to this): Recent study (within five years of the start date of the course) at A-level or equivalent (eg National Vocational Qualification at level 3 or above, Access to HE Diploma).
  • Some applicants working in health and social care are seconded onto the course by their employer and need to obtain the support of their managers as well as applying to the university. In addition to completing an application form, all applicants are required to demonstrate (in a short report) a good understanding of the profession, gained from visiting occupational therapy services.

English Language Requirement:

  • IELTS 7.0 overall, with no element below 6.5.
