Oberlin College is a 440-acre residential campus and has a dynamic and interactive campus community. Here, students have many opportunities to participate in activities and organizations that support their academic, cultural, social, spiritual, political, and athletic interests and preferences.
In addition, our services, programs, and non-academic resources will enable you to reach your personal goals and educational objectives.
We offer 21 varsity teams, assorted club sports and intramural teams, nearly 150 student organizations, and a busy cultural arts community that offers more than 500 concerts and recitals, and about 40 theater and dance productions each year presented by faculty, students, and professionals.

Oberlin students choose from a variety of housing styles: traditional residence halls, program houses organized around language or cultural affinities, and co-op houses in which students manage the house and share meal prep.
Singles, doubles, triples, and quads are all available room types inside these larger halls, which vary between the extremely traditional and historical to modern architectural styles. Additionally, some residence halls have special themes, such as the quiet floor or science fiction and fantasy.
Our residence halls provide comprehensive and tailored living opportunities for all students. Trained personnel live in the halls to help meet the needs of students and to plan activities. From faculty in residence to resident directors, teaching assistants to resident assistants, they're all here to help each student have a constructive, successful year.
