About Northwestern University

Northwestern University is a private research university with campuses which located in Evanston and Chicago of Illinois, United States. Northwestern has 12 undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools offering 124 undergraduate degrees and 145 graduate and professional degrees. Northwestern is one of the largest university endowments in the United States and also pne of only 62 institutions elected to the Association of American Universities. Northwestern was awarded more than $500 million in research grants in 2010–2011, placing it in the first tier of the major research universities in the United States by the Center for Measuring University Performance.

Campus information

Northwestern has three campuses. Two campuses are located on Lake Michigan: a 240-acre campus in Evanston, the first suburb north of Chicago, and a 25-acre campus in Chicago. While the other campus is located in Doha, Qatar.
