What are the students like? They are very helpful and open minded. Since the students are from different countries so we will get an opportunity to celebrate different festivals and can enjoy numerous cultural experience. Everyone gets to know different people from different areas and their lifestyles. What do students do when not studying? Tell us about the social and sports life. Most of the people are allowed to work only 20 hours a week so most of them are working. In their spare time, they are joining a gym, hanging out with friends in different sports, and enjoy the study ambience in the library. How is the academic life at this university/college? The lecturers are very intelligent and helpful to the students. Most of them are professionals in their respective fields. So, instead of reading definitions from the book, they practically tell us what are the course related to and what we are gonna do and how we should do. Most of the other university's lecturers only devoting time in class and if the students want to meet them, they need to make an appointment in order to get an assistance. However, if you are stuck in anything at Melbourne Polytechnic, the lecturers are always available for you, no appointment required. They will help you as per your need. What is your overall opinion about this university/college? Melbourne Polytechnic gives you a very nice environment to study. Melbourne Polytechnic has its own standard for education. They do not teach solely from the books. Instead, they tell you how to apply the knowledge into the particular field you are studying in. We've got some really experienced and helpful lecturers. We've got some really nice campuses, libraries, computer labs with all the software you need, cafeteria with multicultural cuisines, and some extra-curricular activities. In short, I just want to say Melbourne Polytechnic is the best place to study at.
