An innovator in education for over 150 years, Lasell College today is a comprehensive coeducational college offering professionally oriented bachelor's and master's degree programs.
We are known for helping students make the connection between classroom lessons and real life through hands-on activities such as internships, practicum, service learning, and meaningful projects.
Lasell College consists a 53 acres campus with 52 buildings and 27 residence halls.
Lasell College is located at the intersection of I-95/Route 128 and the Massachusetts Turnpike. Route 128 creates a ring around downtown Boston, connecting Lasell College to points north and south, while the Turnpike makes it easy to reach Boston to the east. The area surrounding Boston is home to many thriving businesses, schools, and health care institutions.
Residential Housing offers a unique experience for students who choose to live on campus. Like the classroom environment, Lasell prides itself on having small residential communities. The residential system is comprised of 26 residential buildings. At Lasell, we offer three distinct living options for our students: traditional residence halls, suite-style housing and residence houses.
Residence Halls
Contemporary style residence halls consist of quads (adjoining double rooms connected by a private bathroom). The halls are co-educational, but a single-sex environment is maintained in each quad room and in most cases hall floors are a mix of female and male students.
Traditional "dorm" style residence halls consist of doubles, triples, and in a few cases quads. The halls (except for Van Winkle, which is all female) are co-educational, but a single-sex environment is maintained in each room and in most cases halls are split into female and males floors. Each floor has its own common single-sex bathroom for all residents of that floor.
Suite Style Halls
Suite-Style residence halls offer a spacious living environment with the added convenience of a common area, small kitchenette, and bathroom(s) to share with your roommates. Suite-style housing is typically reserved for upper class students.
A six-person suite consists of two double rooms, two single rooms, and two bathrooms. A four-person suite consists of two double rooms and one bathroom. A five-person suite consists of one triple room, one double room, and one bathroom.
Residence Houses
Resident houses offer a unique on-campus living experience. Each house is individual in style and brings forth a sense of history and community. Fireplaces, crown moldings, and beautiful glass work are just some of the unique touches that can be found throughout the Victorian era inspired homes. The houses accommodate between 12 and 40 students.
